increase budget a bit and get acer 58 inch for 36k on amazon (using amazon icici card)
Most I am concerned about is Longevity and quality picture.
So are these chinese brands durable and long lasting like 7 – 8 years.

Sony Samsung just fool people in their low budget models. At least VU hisense, Mi, thomson realme give value for money product.
Only go to sony samsung for their high end products. At that price point, you dont have to worry about money, but only quality.
Their 40-50k LED tv wont even compete VU / hisense. Their rating is high only because people think, Oh it’s Sony / Samsung. It must be best. Just look at the the TV logo at bottom (Sony/Samsung). Nothing could have been better. 😉
After exploring TV a little bit, even though many features missing, you got Sony / samsung logo to show to your parents and buddies 😁
From my little research today; I found Sony and LG are the top two.
Also read that Sony is using LG’s Panel only. Also it is on the higher price side than LG especially in India or the other way round; I am not sure.
Basically I am fine with FHD TV too if the picture quality is better like Brightness/Contrast/Local Dimming etc.
Any models you know of good value?
Also, I am considering getting FireTV Stick if the price difference between Smart TV and normal LED is huge. Any views regarding this.

Don’t spend too much on tv. Nowadays tvs don’t last long irrespective of brand

Buying TV can’t be urgent. I suggest don’t buy TV at all.
But if you still want to buy, get Panasonic. Or LG. Or Samsung. I would never buy Sony.
If your budget allows, go for Sony. Using 32 inch TV from 4 years, no issue yet.

7-8 years tv can be only old crt tv.
nowadays tv company itself giving 1 year warranty. earlier it used to be 5 years.
now if company itself cant trust its product to last for 1 year how can we believe it to sustain 8 years
