So I’m looking to get a credit card.I being a student don’t have any source of income, so i found out that I can get CC against Fixed deposit.
I’ve three banks in mind: ICICI ,HDFC and axix. But i don’t currently have accounts in any of these.

So please suggest me which will be best to open account with and provide credit card against Fixed deposit

I can have FD of upto 1L if that matters.

Thanks in advance!

Don’t go for a credit card untill you earn at least 40k per month…and since you are a student…you don’t need one….
Can you tell why you need it?

I’m fascinated by them. I just want to build my Credit score and maybe if i can get few rewards while doing that, then I’d be sweet.

Out of 3 – ICICI Bank and Axis Bank issue credit card against FD.

Take Axis Bank Credit Card because Axis Bank may remove lien on FD after 6 months and you can break FD after lien on FD is removed and Credit card is also not closed.

Other Banks do not remove lien on FD.

Everything is possible if you are ready to follow a displined plan to reduce your debt .. you need to think out if box to pay your costliest loan first and over time you will be debt free .
