Currently i am using Redmi note 5 pro.

Kindly suggest phone which has good performance.

My usage does not include heavy games. But i need to install 50-100 apps in my phone. RMN5 pro is getting very slow.

Personally I prefer stock android devices.
MIUI gets super slow when that much high number of apps are installed as they are already bloated with ~50 apps which you will never use(no, they don’t appear on app drawyer but they are there, those are responsible for various features)

It’s a lame suggestion but you can go with poco f1 at 12-13k.
And then install a custom rom on top of it. As poco/xiaomi intentionally throttling the performance of poco f1 in recent updates to sale their other phones.
Even today’s 20-25k devices wont be able to beat that device’s performance.

If you don’t care about bulky design, old phone model, No-Notch display then go with this device.
custom rom/kernel support is also superb for this device.

@ZNZ Stock android indeed runs a bit smoother but it also lacks a lot of features.e.g.in miui 11 I get scrolling screenshot capture, screen recorder, call recorder all by default while on latest stock android 9 & 10 you will have to spend ~600 just to get a good working call recording app(he tried all the free ones & even some good paid ones but finally ended up buying this Rs.600 app which was the only one that worked on his stock android 9/10 rom). As for lagging again it depends on your usage & what settings/updates you install. I for one don’t always install miui 11 updates immediately but rather read xda forum & mi India forum for reviews for at least 1-2 months before trying an update. In my opinion stock android is not worth it for many people especially if you have a phone with at least 6gb ram which you should have anyway nowadays.

One best thing about xiaomi is , Most of their good devices have good custom roms.
As they always release kernel source /device tree on github.

So If you’re a lil bit tech savvy it’s always better to install custom roms after you get fed up using MIUI .

In most of the custom roms you can get waay more meaningful customization than MIUI .

PS:-Never used a phone till date without custom rom. If I get a new phone, very next day I install a custom rom, even earlier than getting a screenguard or case smile

As suggested by many, Poco X2 would aptly fit your needs.
It has the one of the best(if not the best) camera under 20k.
Gr8 processor too.
fast charging and 4500 mah battery.
It ticks almost all the boxes for a gr8 phone.
Under 20k budget- poco X2 hand down.

Poco x2 has slightly better camera than Realme X2. Realme is less bulky compared to Poco.

iqoo neo 3 is launching soon & will be priced competitively though not sure about India launch. Above 30k you should be looking mainly at camera reviews as that’s the main thing you gain.
