Kindly suggest the best branded water purifier at home ( head count - 4 members) & what considerations should be kept in mind while buying a water purifier?
I heard good reviews on AO smith & Aqua guard. Kindly provide your inputs.

dont go for branded ones. Replacement and maintenance cost will be high. They will charge huge price for replacement filters. when you buy branded filters, you wont find spares outside fitting into their design...
Go for Indian brands / local ones. Performance will be almost similar. replacement filters you can get anywhere, cost is less.
For example brands like Proven , Aquaultra... or go for your cities local brands.
Bought aquaguard aura uv+uf purifier few days back after lot of search
I bought Blue star cresto/aristo (similar model), it is good. Amc charges 2800. 9 months passed, no issue faced.

Best means one has to check n test all the purifiers in the world if not universe. I don't think anybody can suggest you the Best w/o doing so.
Buy local ones.. so that we can save money from AMC ... they charging very high amount for spares for branded...
