Hi,

Please suggest a good value for money dishwasher. What to look for while buying one? Does it need special kind of liquid soap to wash utensils? Is it worth it?

Thanks

Dishwasher salt : 100/kg or pickle salt 400/50kg
50kg would average last 8 years for a family of 5.

Dishwasher detergent powder : finish classic rs 409/kg bottle last 1 per month for family of 5 or 2 months for family of 3.

Rinse aid : finish 500ml ₹300 or fortune rinse aid 500ml ₹150. 500ml lasts about 3 months atleast.

Needs a 15 amps power Socket, needs a dedicated water tap point and a drain.

My flat had the provision but most don’t so plan place to keep it before buying.

Thanks bro. What is the use of this salt and rinse aid besides a detergent in a dishwasher?

What other things to look for while selecting one? Like capacity etc.

Is there any dishwasher which doesn’t need dedicated installation like a washing machine?

U can use “Fortune” brand salt and detergent powder – not much difference I found
Finish is costly as its imported. I mix normal liquid detergent with Fortune Dishwasher detergent(20:80)ratio – works great
Salt is needed if water is hard, Rinse aid to make utensils bright – kind of polish and helps in drying
Am using Voltas Beko DF15SP 15 Place Dishwasher (Silver) – Very nice cleaning and hygenic vis a vis maid cleaning
Buy bigger one(preferred) – u can always use half load option too
But u need to change utensils to dishwasher compatible mainly ceramic etc. Steel utensils work but not aluminum and weak plastic items
