Need to buy a oven toaster griller(otg). I already own a microwave without convection mode. So for baking purpose need a otg. Use will be occasional only. So any basic which does baking job perfectly. For 2-3 people. If anyone using or aware of any, at least possible cost?

As of now I am using prestige.
This diwali i am also planning to buy one, but zero knowledge abount otg/oven.
I dont know about requirement, kindly enlighten me which all type is use for which purpose.
Plus which converter to buy to connect it to the electricity switch? Usually microwaves and otg’s have a bigger plug.
Yeah some models are there from Morphy Richards, prestige, American micronic, black & decker, Borosil, pigeon, Philips. Bajaj is good name in otg but sadly none of its model come with convection fan.
I am still looking for right Brand and model. That is why asked for any help here. But seem like none are using. @trickler
I am using usha 38l one. Got for 5k on Diwali sale.
Go for any brand pick the convention fan one. Don’t worry about brands. In otg there are only two heating rods up and down. No rocket science involved.

Agree brands doesn’t matter in this as long as they are giving warranty and after sales service is good. Will be looking for convection fan with good number of service centres availability.
Smaller models like 16 ltr don’t have fan but still practical for 2-3 persons house hold.
23 ltrs is neither to big nor too small. Ideal for cakes and 4 persons house hold.
beyond that if you don’t cook commercial cakes for Christmas don’t buy that. 40 ltrs is waste of space, money and electricity since takes longer time to heat.
Look on olx for 23 ltrs. People buy and since they find it intimidating just pack and keep in cupbosrd
Intimidating, why?
After type of selection ab next chij hai discount discount bole to value for money.
Jo bhi mal shortlist ho kripya hata post karte jaye
Daily daily to use hoga nahi, iske liye budget kyun strech karna

appreciate the review post-usage, although 30 ltr is huge for my usage.
So the review is here:
Tried on different dishes and recipes and all came out perfectly. Tried pizza, toast, litti, baati, bread from scratch, cookies. All done perfectly. Just need some more hand on for idea of different temperature and time need for different recipes.
Convection technology is very useful to bake evenly. Chamber is illuminated which helps alot. Baking tray, crumb tray, rotisserie mode is there for non vegetarians. Overall pretty happy with the purchase. Only thing cord is not that long. So i got the extention board. Plug is 15 amp one.
30 litres on hearing looks big but quantity is enough for 3-4 people. If I say exactly, you can toast 6 slices of bread at once.
You can even read the review of new model. Performance wise I am pretty happy and seem got a good deal with convection fan. Definitely recommend.

Thank you for your review, will grab in upcoming deal.
@Alexios thanks for first review. Even we srs tempted to get one, but in two minds..
Few questions please..
1. Pizza : dimensions with 6 slices of bread is confusing. Can we make a pizza of 12 inch diameter?
2. How much time to bake a pizza? 10min?? Lesser? Any special trag for pizzas (perforated at bottom?)
3. Cookies: how many trays can be put? Just one? Or two (two layers) or three?? How many trays are included?
4. Grill/coil at both top n bottom?
Product dimensions: 452mm x 388 mm x 298 mm Inner chamber dimensions : 332 mm x 323 mm x 280 mm
1. 12 inch pizza. Yes 12 inch can be made.
2. That depends on recipe. Readymade pizza base will take less time. And on making pizza from scratch it takes about 20-25 minutes. Baking is done usually both rods on or in some recipes only bottom. This one has convection fan with both rod on mode. So that is best for baking.
3. One bake tray, crumb tray, and grill rack is there. There are four slots for different needs. So yes 2 tray can fit but it is not suggested and both will be near to top and bottom rods so baking will not be even. If you go for larger capacity variant like 40litres and above you may do that. But generally even chefs don’t recommend two tray simultaneously.
4. Grill mode is top rod only. For bottom rod only baking for certain dishes as per recipe. There are 5 mode as such in this. Top only, top+convection, both rod, both rod+convection, bottom rod.
One thing i will mention that this is an imported product, found out from the box. Made in China obviously. While searching for options,Got most of the items of electronics made in China only.
So if anyone not feeling good about it can think of other brands. I am not sure which one is made in India or other country apart from China.
Thought to tell you this important detail. As it is not mentioned on amazon or anywhere.

Tweet that photo to Modiji. Oh wait I am sure his CRapple was made in china too.
Even if outer shell is made in india, some or other part will be made in China, we can’t truly stay aatma nirbhar. Live let live
Only delhi items (unbranded or unknown brands) are made in Faridabad. Most branded stuff comes from China.
Planning to buy this. (Almost final)

Any suggestions?
What accessories to buy along with this?
Some general accessories like tray and rotisserie are provided. You should buy, butter paper for cookies and baking , stainless steel skewers for tikka, bread loaf tin, pizza screen. These are the things I have bought.
Which one did you buy?
