Suggestion Needed ! Buying A Tablet
Hello Dimers,
I am thinking of buying a Tablet mainly for Study and MS Office work purposes.
Based on my work around, I have decided to buy Apple iPad 6th Gen l, which is currently available for 20k in Flipkart.
Though I was thinking of buying an Android Tablet but good ones are out of my budget.

I already have one i5 buddy, but I need something portable.
Yes you can definitely go for it If you are getting it below or around 20000 after bank discounts and cashback.
In tablets android is nowhere near apple in terms of durability & performance.
The only issue though is the storage. If you can manage with 32gb then it’s a no brainer.

Storage is not an issue. Most of the time I will be using it for Files and Documentation only.
iPad 6th Gen is a good choice for studying purpose. I am not sure if it would serve the MS office purpose. Typing might be a pain point IMO. But for study purpose this is the best device. Pencil makes your work all the more comfortable. (If pencil is not a necessity then wait and get a logitech crayon for 50 to 70 USD whenever some friend/relative is flying from the US.
You may want to consider the 128gb model as 32 GB is too less these days.
I got an iPad 6th Gen 128gb for 305 USD from US 3 months back, (credit to @RDX bhai) & pencil from amazon at 7.2k. I think i made a good choice.

Wise choice. There is no competition to iPad when you consider the app ecosystem and purely by hardware as well.
MS Office on iPad needs Office 365 subscription without which you cannot access the app, it costs around Rs. 399 per month I guess. You have Apple’s own apps which are quite capable and good to but takes some time to get used to them.
6th gen iPad is great and works well. I advise not to invest neither on a keyboard not pencil just yet. Get used to iPad first and ensure you make good use of it, then find a good keyboard and get an Apple Pencil.
I had the whole kit of 12.9" iPad Pro + apple keyboard and apple pencil 2 years ago but hardly made use of it and sold it away. Recently wanted an iPad again but got only the iPad (used one on OLX).
