Suggestion needed for AMEX MRCC to Platinum travel card upgrade

Amex is giving an option to upgrade my MRCC to Platinum travel card which as first year fee of 3.5k and renewal fee of 5k. When I upgrade my MRCC will become LTF.
Is it worth to upgrade. Please suggest.

No fee waiver on platinum travel. Can achieve the spends.

I did upgraded to Platinum card when they offered me 5000 points and 1000 Amazon gv.

Your mrcc would act as a fee waiver for plat if you are not able to do that solely on plat.
12000 points earned on mrcc is almost on par with fees you pay on plat.
so you need to spend 48000+4= 4.5 lac for (10k taj + 23.5k)spicejet) voucher benefits = 7.5% return

Is there any conditions for fee waiver on plat travel? If you are able to achieve that spend, then not a bad deal at all. Since you can just keep minimum 4 txns. On mrcc to get bonus points and can shift the rest on to plat
I have a LTF mrcc and they have been sending me to get plat travel for the longest time. But I don’t have too many spends on Amex so I don’t find much value for myself.
