Yesterday I got a screen guard for my smartphone from a local screen guard seller, he removed old screen guard and put new screen protector on my mobile, there was a halo bubble at the edges which he assured that it’ll go off & disappear after Mobile gets heated a little (while charging), due to his assurance I paid him by upi (qr code scan). The bubbles stayed there, didn’t disappear. Next day when I approached him to correct it or put screen guard properly, he refused & said, ‘jo kar sakte ho karlo, I won’t replace ’ ( trans :I won’t do it, do whatever you can). Inshort he duped me
Because the amount was not very significant I left it to karma and returned from there.
But still that feeling of getting cheated is there., can anything be done like chargeback or something.?

Actually you can lift it and try yourself once by applying little pressure from inside, Gum will be intact for initial few days. If bubble is just near edges the just lift guard slightly on that side and then push with atm card from inside out. Without lifting guard bubbles won’t disappear. Prior Warning: Should be done in clean area. If you are inexperienced, then it might create extra bubbles, so don’t blame me.
Regarding the feeling of getting cheated:
Leave it bro. It’s a learning experience. I too was duped back in 2017 similarly. Back then there was this stupid new thing with screen guards with a dotted layer between guard and phone screen. Sales guy said the same that they will melt with usage. Waited for 2 weeks then understood that I became a fool. Used it for few months and bought another one .
एक् हि तरीका है, सारे के सारे किस्से का विडीओ मैं record करो और उसी के दुकान के सामने खड़े हो जाओ उसके बाद जो भी कोई ग्राहका आए उसे आगाह करो कि इसने क्या किया है (ये सारा किस्सा रिकॉर्ड भी करते रहो) अगर वो दूकानदार तुम्हें मरने भी आता है कि उसके ग्राहक भाग रहे है तो भी तुम्हें फायदा है ये विडीओ का clip पुलिस को दिखाओ और्कि complain करो कि ये दूकानदार मुझे मरने आया था।

Such incidents keep on happening, just move on. Don’t think much about that incident, i know it hurts, but its best to let it go.
Buy some tempered glass from amazon and fix it yourself.
Such type of people are there in bulk quantities in this world.

Maine bhi recently lagwaya, guy told me the same thing. Bubbles are gone after using for a week but not a good glass for sure, and edges were so sharp, had to use earphone for a week, else ears me chuv rahe the phone.
Last time jidhar maine lagaya tha, usne badi care se lagaya tha. Bade shops se hi lagana and avoid mobile markets.

fraud is fraud, not mini not giant. This is happening everywhere in the local market. Not happened with me but I have seen many examples. Government ko offline seller k viruddh bhi koi scheme nikalni chahiye.
They get the screen guards at 11rs to 40rs.
Chargeback does not work.

Had heard abt this earlier. Do u know the procedure? Can it be done through online banking?
