Electric not a first preference, can only consider if see strong benefits that can cover the extra cost EV has
Usage would be local - daily run of 10-20 km .
- Which all brands can be considered ( please mention specific model that is recommended )
- What all features I should look into my buying decision ( will be helpful to classify must have features Vs. good to have features)
- Should I purchase online or via dealer ( share your experiences if purchased online )
- While purchasing via dealer what all accessories I should get along with the vehicle as free ( given mostly free )
- Any other thing to keep in mind.

Do update.
What will be the Use
Are you considering electric as an option or not
Do update, you will surely get proper suggestions
Do you want to buy electric or petrol
If usage is more than 25km per day. Get an electric two wheeler.
Preference in below order.
Ola s1 pro/S1
Tvs icube
Vida by Hero
Ather
If daily usage is less, buy an Activa, eyes closed. Preferably the keyless version.( 110 cc/ 125 cc)

More usage per day does not mean electric are good. I would prefer electrics as secondary vehicles as sometimes range is not enough for some travels
@newmagic in petrol version better go with a reputed seller in your city for good after sales service

I own activa 6g and okinawa praise pro. Primary vehicle is praise pro and activa is used only for long distance commutes. In electric you get benifits such near to zero maintenance
ACTIVA

Means nearly 50 rs worth fuel consumption
Monthly 1500 rs approximately
If you buy an ev u will be saving at least 1000 bucks per month
So u can consider That cheapest ola which gives 80-100km range
Now coming to normal scooty
I will suggest you to go for Honda one
Good balance, good breaking ( mostly combined breaking system ) , lightweight,
Handy.
U can check Honda duo ( 85K approx )
Gives around 40 milage
Or Activa ( for Better build quality)
Points you need to check
should have cbs
Telescopic front suspension
Good turning radius
Good Headlight
So take a test drive check vibration if any , smoothness and then decide
Accessories nothing comes for free
Most of the protection guard actually demage the fiber body
( Dont go for any higher cc scooty like tvs ntoraque or that yamaha 155 cc one )
Tvs Jupiter

Just dont write down everything if you dont have any real life experience with any of them in that list
Like i have idea about that Ather & Ola
That ola S1 belongs to my friend
He do travel 40+40 km , 6 days a week , its been 10 months, only 1 servicing ( kind of routine checkup) he did , besides that no major issues
The only issues he faced is mostly software
( Nothing major )

What you want to say Buddy??
My personal view - if your purchase is immediate (within next 2 months), stick to ICE. Read this -> https://www.desidime.com/discussions/electric-v...
The only seemingly decent 2W EV for which I haven't come across any feedbacks/reviews is Hero Vida!! Will keep an eye on it, although its pretty costlier.
Petrol activa, Electic Ola s1
EV is better if staying in metro, depends for other city
Ola

Seems like you advise someone only after getting experience. So funny !!!
If you have any iota of common sense then do read my comment again.
Petrol: TVS Jupiter
Electric: TVS icube

Do check its review
U will get why i said that
Bdw i never had any intention to hurt u with my reply
If i did m sorry for that.
Electric : high insurance cost + high battery cost replacement, range anxiety, low charging infrastructure
Petrol : less insurance cost + long range + low repair cost
Both have benefits and disadvantages so choose wisely.
Btw, I am also considering buying a new two wheeler and I will go for petrol preferably suzuki access or something similar.
Dont buy activa
