You want for photography but photos for what purpose? wedding, landscape,, portfolio, travel or just for home use.

You will be paid or just photos for Instagram or have some other plans and what are they.

Each camera has a different dynamic range which cannot be matched by mobiles. But if it’s for Instagram you don’t need dslr.

Now if you are confused do a free course first then buy one. You once camera is bought you cannot change it just buy extra lens which is again 15000 extra each minimum.

Alternate is buy a used camera try it then buy a new one. It the price depreciates fast. 35k camera in 1 year turns just 15k

Any specific reason for buying only DSLR,

30K is starting range for any camera in which you change lens(ILC)

You can look for Canon SX740HS or SX540HS (high zoom camera)in your budget

If you want to stick to DSLR than you can checkout Nikon D3500 or Canon EOS 1500D

If you can extend your budget then go for EOS 200DII Dual lens kit

I don’t suggest buying second hand camera as you may not get original accessories which cost a bomb(charger for 2.5k and battery for 3k), you cannot be sure as to whether you are getting the original kit supplied by manufacturer or a mix and match kit from the seller, if the camera was used for rent purpose then the usage would be extensive and rough and you may face constant problems which are not covered by warranty.

The only reason i think.. people (regular users) still prefer DSLRs is because they provide a better grip (+ they’re economical). Also.. the EF/EF-S lens are cheap (Compatible with budget Canon DSLRs like EOS 3000)
On the other hand, EF-M,E-Mount,F-mount & … lens are costlier and there are few options too

If this is your first attempt with DSLRs, then may be get cheapest Canon – EOS 3000 (dump the 18-55mm on OLX) and get Canon 24/50/50mm Wide/prime lens for <10k extra. If you prefer flip out screen for self-recording or pictures, then u need to spend a bit more

If you want a lighter option, then u can try something like Canon M200, Canon M50 (Costs more)
or the Sony Mirrorless series A5100/6400/6500/6600 with 15-45mm lens package (u can get used A6300 for <40k?)
// Canon M50 and Sony A series.. give the feeling of DSLR because of the identical holding grip //
