I guess you intend to buy Mill flour and Not the other way..
If its so, better if u can get from local mill directly.. lesser price
& yes its worth buying, as are healthier than processsed ones & rotis remain soft even afterwards..
However, from local places there are chances that you will get wheat bran alongwith (whole wheat aata milled with outer skin),
which is good for health, but some people doesn’t like reddish/brownish tint in rotis and prefer white as if made with all purpose flour(maida).

& if you want only packaged and branded ones, you can go for Sunreap (lowest price), BB Royal (bigbasket), Reliance fresh chakki aata, ganesh chakki aata, aashirvaad chakki aata etc..

All are good, similar in taste & texture.. NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL..
tried all personally as per offer availability.

Expected price : Local ₹24-27 per kg
Branded : ₹31-40 per kg
(occasionally lower if offer available, but can combine with different offer to get at as less as 26-30, mainly from Grofers & Bigbasket)

PM me if u want Bigbasket referral for additional discount.

Dont even think of it.

Its very tedious to keep it clean after use or else birth of worms will come in corners of chakki were atta gets sticked due to perspiration while grinding wheat or other things.

First few months you will enjoy all the freshness and goodness because of your attraction towards the new thing but then you will find ways to get rid of it

And some people told that if you need 200kg wheat in whole year with local flour mill than in your own home flour mill you need less like 100-125kg of wheat so is this really true????

I personally owned Nissan himgiri stone flour mill, had used it for some years and finally got rid of it .

1 hour of grinding gives 5-6 kg of atta,

There is also another company 5 star which sells blade version of the mill and is a bit faster than Nissan stone version.
1 hour of grinding approx 10 kg atta.

Unless you have a big family and someone who can look after the machine cleaning its very tedious to maintain.

Natraj  brand   is also there.

Local flour Mills are there but people are suggesting that they keep some of our wheat (like if we give them 5kg wheat they give only 3-4 kg flour ) basically they are cheating

And some people told that if you need 200kg wheat in whole year with local flour mill than in your own home flour mill you need less like 100-125kg of wheat so is this really true????

actually those aren’t stones but some composite material, I think.
when using new stones or even re treated stones in shop, better to waste, let pass some kilo grain as it ends up getting few bits, pieces of the stone itself.
Common-Man all these big names or branded ones can never provide customised or simple units as per specific needs.
the mass marketed ones always end up adding too many design, looks, fancy features even if not required.
thus they try cross selling products and take brand premium.
SMEs capture the local pulse better and innovate more quickly.

We have a Natraj Jumbo Flour Mill. It’s a great product. Compact, easy to use and we never faced any issue in last 7 years. This is the one we have.
