I had recently experienced one bad experience for my swiggy order, so while delivering the order he said as my order is prepaid order his payout will be next day only and he said he doesn’t have money and no petrol, first he asked me 500 rs I straight away said I don’t have then I gave him 100 rs as he said his bike don’t have petrol and he Don’t have money right now he said he will send me tomorrow , I had waited for 3 days on 4th day I had contacted him and asked my money he said he will transfer in 10 minutes, that’s all evening when I called him he blocked my number, he blocked my 2 numbers. I had reported the same complaint to swiggy. Now a day’s what kind of delivery agent’s they are hiring is very doubtful now. We are giving away our location and our contact number to the delivery guys is it safe guy’s, and by the response I got from swiggy they are not even listening to my case , now I’m wondering he may scam other’s too in the same way

Yeah bro once or twice I had experienced the other way delivery guy used to give money and ask phonepe or Google pay transfer as they are having the cod order money ,
Today i ordered in swiggy ,called him after 30mins and asked i ordered ,hes said “so what” u oredered wait or cancel it,i gave 1* rating and gave feedback to swiggy
More than swiggy or any delivery agent its the humanity that dies in you with these experiences.
Thats why today we dont find many helping others
If for mere 100₹ humanity dies in someone’s heart then one gotta question that heart as humanity is way more expensive than 100₹.
Just now I ordered and getting the order with in time limit… Delivery guy is very good. Giving 5*
Yeah bro not all are like that I used to give maximum to all agent’s 5 star rating as they may get incentives I had waited for 4 day’s thinking of him if I complain to swiggy they may take action against him but after these many day’s now I had complained to swiggy the entire matter, to my surprise they simply stated that just right a mail stating the same and by the response I got from the chat associate I don’t think so they will take my case seriously
This has been the case with most delivery agents. Recently a dimer here had some bitter experience with a delivery person from Jiomart.
In my experience
- about an year back, a swiggy delivery agent hands over his business card and later texts on whatsapp asking to go through their product portfolio
- Once, flipkart delivery person following up for feedback after 1-2 days the order is delivered
Please don’t blame swiggy , it was between you and that delivery executive .
He cheated you , plain and simple .
So, isn’t it there duty to take action against such people
It’s a mixed bag. Once a delivery guy called me after status as order picked up and then called me saying that restaurant is closed and he by mistake changed it to order picked. He further asked me to cancel it. Pretty sure he was hungry or something, so din’t make much fuss as after talking to cc, they didn’t charge cancellation fee after order was picked.
