Swiggy Price Selective Inflation

Hi
Recently I have observed something. For any item which I continuously order from Swiggy, the price of that item increases. I raised the issue with them, but Swiggy replied by saying that it is up to the Restaurant to set the price.
It is okay but this unreasonable price increase is not a good way to make extra money. The restaurant gets an idea that this particular product is in demand and increases the price at an unreasonable level.
Only the ordered item's price changes, the rest of everything remains same.
For E.g- Rajma Chawal Price increased from Rs 99 to 130, rest items were unchanged.
Paneer roll of Rs 90 is now of Rs 180.
One restaurant has crossed all limits and changed the price of Rs 60 Paratha to Rs 320.

Anyway, it is turning out to be a blessing in disguise.

Call restaurant and ask prices. Off lately I have started ordering directly from them.

It's better to have both if one regularly orders and can afford both memberships. Sometimes there are price differences on each platform, or some menu items are available on a particular platform only.

This will definitely raise an eyebrow. No one can justify this much increase and hence the post.

Try ordering the same product from Zomato and let me know
The restaurants must be operating from Venezuela

You can try out delishup
Ordering regularly from Swiggy & Zomato since their inception in Delhi/Hyderabad/Lucknow, but never experienced this restaurant or account specific dynamic pricing.
I always check printed scanned menu cards of restaurants available on generic websites before ordering. There is a minor but fixed price difference but no dynamic changes in pricing.
Can you share restaurant name and city?
This is why Zomato made profit I think
