very few farmers work the way you said rest sit and get work done by labor so government should pass on benefits to real hard working people
There are many ultra rich farmers working as software engineers etc they are farmers b’cos they inherited land
no loot for dimmers , only farmers looting .
We pay tax, and farmers and many others getting it for free.
This is the fault of our govt, they didn’t empower farmers, minorities, sc/st, etc in 70 yrs of independence to use them as a votebank.
Don’t be emotional for them, but think why they still need freebies!
We also work hard and pay for everything including fruits and vegetables. Remember that farmers also selling their stuff, not giving for free.
Not everyone working in AC but many farmers also working in ACs these days.
Everyone has an equal share in the progress of the nation.
Farmers are important as servicemen, as labor, as companies, as anyone else.
See None of the govt. is good. They will do to win elections.
Even 1.5 years farm law supression is just to delay till elections.
But, I hate BJP for supressing freedom.
These govt. just want votes. They don’t care about farmer. loan waiver is not gonna benefit them. This will make them lazy and put bad habbits. Instead of this they could have given MSP on different crops. Nobody thinks about farmers who produce vegetables and fruits. Everyone talks about farmers who are growing staples.
That will be directly benefit to farmers and they will produce more to get more money instead of taking more loan for spending and waiting for waiver by next govt.
So called elities thinking their tax money wasted is vague argument..infact farmers are the highest tax payer in india.diesel consumption by farmers are highest .so stop arguing we paid tax farmers done nothing
Most of farmers are very poor and they deserves to get relief from the government
And they will always remain poor just because of these aid or freebies. They instead make them more poor and vulnerable.
I see every few years govts. announcing loan waivers(mostly before elections) but why the situation haven’t improved yet?
We live in this hugely populated country one thing each and every person need’s is food which these farmers grow.
We are not even producing food to feed each and every person. So there’s huge demand.
Still these farmers are poor what’s the reason?
The sad part is that some of these loans are taken by educated people working in the city and taking such loans from Co-Op banks just so it gets waived in the next election party change.. it’s become a norm instead of a scam…
It is not loan waiver but indirectly cash for vote.
Why not there is a limit the farmers who earn let’s see 5L per year… similar to Income tax, any farmer earning more than 5L ( just an idea ), he should pay tax.
Why the benefit to be given to someone already earning in Lacs? After all these subsides and loan waivers etc are paid from the TAX / Govt. income.
