Hi I am using TATA docomo Orissa circle but since it is merged with Airtel. Last week I recharged with 49₹ plan .
Shall I do MNP first to recharge Airtel unlimited plans like 598₹ or 399₹ or can I recharge directly to my docomo sim without MNP?
Anybody who has gone through process need your help!

You Are Now Already A Airtel Customer. So Do Airtel Recharges As Per Your Circle.
No MNP Or Any Such FRC Required For Your Sim.
If You Dont Have Airtel Sim Then Visit Nearest Airtel Store ( Not Retail Store ) And Ask For 4G Upgrade Sim ( Dont Say Replacement Sim Else They Charge 50-100Rs For No Reason )
Then Follow The Process To Swap Your Sim And Get Upgraded To Airtel 4G ( It Takes 2-4 Hrs )
I did last week in Chennai… They did free upgrade to Airtel 4G sim
To OP – Your no more docomo customer. Only Airtel RC packs applicable with all their services

Just go to Airtel office. They ll be more than happy to give you a new 4G sim.🙂 You are no longer a docomo customer, you are an Airtel customer now
They definitely won’t be happy, they will act as if they’re doing you a big favour by providing a sim , at least that’s my experience
Porting is not all necessary. Just need to do a free upgrade to Airtel 4G SIM. Thereafter recharge via Airtel Thanks app etc.
