Lifetime free with T&Cs means nothing. the fee is waived if you 2L I think.
A true LTF card would show 0 joining / renewal fee.

Yup, I faced the issue with KYC, they were unable to get the location permission. So, I did the KYC from another mobile and it worked.

I am now wary of buying expensive electronics items even from fk/amazon & you want to take chance with croma/cliq which have worst returns & customer support than fk/amzn. Just because it is ltf doesn't mean you should take it, only take it if you think one hdfc card is not enough for you to avail hdfc card offers or you just want to get a rupay credit card for the novelty factor.

It will be treated like a new application.
Different limit , VKYC, verification everything will be done. Wheras when its the same number just VKYC hapoens and you get shared limit.

I think it's kind of a mistake to go for infinity ltf if your existing hdfc card is with 1 lac or less limit, maybe 2 lac is also not good enough. I think they would have given me neu plus
