Does anyone here know how to check status of police verification for tatkal passport, I realised digits.mix up in my mobile no post all the processes , informed police and did the verification but now want to see the status of the verification , as the passport site only shows passport dispatched as last status
I had got a mail when the pv was iniaited do we also get one when it's completed

No Need to worry.
If the police personnel unable to contact via the given contact no., he will visit the address for verification.
Since it is Tatkal and already ur passport dispatched, u will receive the passport in couple of days.
If still no verification done after 2 or 3 days, contact nearest police station (the one u mentioned in the passport application) and get the contact details of PV incharge. They will assist.
I already went to the station and did all formalities and submitted all documents they needed , just now I want to track a way to see progress unless it doesn't matter now since I did my part

After police verification is showing passport dispached means everything is done. Now sit back and wait for your passport.
