Determine Fund Managers, not really required, look at the fund trend, if it has been performing well, it has a good fund Manager..

Thanks Tristar. So there is no such thing as a best fund/fund manager – it’s varying trend based on CAGR/ interest rates. Right?

Axis long term equity fund is consistently performing well since last 5 years. However that doesn’t mean it will perform same in future.

CAGR is a calculation/prediction of the outcome, it’s like an interest calculation, has nothing to do with picking a fund.

Pick a fund based on the Fund House, Type of fund, exposure, diversification etc… Usually holding a fund for a long time will eventually get you good profits, ‘how much Profit’ is what distinguishes a good fund from an average one..
