I checked with couple of guys.. they are quoting 1500 rs for 15 kms. It looks very high to me. It comes to 100 ra per km. What do you think?

Ever since the IPO (lots of funds),
Avenue Supermarts has started paying fixed amounts to those having mini pick-up trucks and commercial vehicles.
If you are into all those on-line sites (Porter and what not) then I do not know, but otherwise one can get an estimate from those local tempo owners and negotiate odd hours or regular hours.. whichever they can squeeze in.
Usually they do not quote per kilometre or by time, but quote a fixed amount.
But usually even for diesel vehicles, one can get a reference by multiplying approximate kilometres by the going per kilometres rate and adding 17%-18% more.
Say they quote ₹800.
Then one can say that some other place you got a lower quote. (Say: 10k.m.× ₹N + 18% more for waiting).
