Axis has totally become worst since 2-3 months and Icici is following it
I mostly pay from amazon and cred
Cred use to be instant when they used upi but they started neft now which axis/icici doesnt reflect in cc for upto 2 days

Thing is card issuer bank is notified of payment irrespective of mode. UPI/IMPS is instantly settled while other modes take time. Banks mark a credit but finalize and post only after settlement. So other modes take time. Some banks notify instantly on a payment, while others not, how their software and systems are configured that matters.

From past month or so I see yellow dot 🟡 above the transaction for couple of days when I pay bill from cred for OneCard issued Federal bank. But the amount to be paid gets reduced, is this instant?

Partially, it basically means your payment was acknowledged but there is a rare chance it may get reversed due to some technical issue/user complaint 2-3 days later. Once a payment to credit card is completely settled then no chance of it reverting.
