I currently have mtnl, which gives good stability, but even its highest plan in my area comes with only 16mbps speed . So, need to shift to different ISP.
I am willing to spend around 1500 rs, So shall I go with tikona(60 mbps/UL) or go for jio fiber
( gold plan), as it includes STB.
My requirement is just stable and decent speed (around 30mbps).
Any personal experiences with either of them is welcome.

Personal experience?
Jio fibre has been giving decent speed uptil now.
Stay away from tikonA othrwise you will regret.
I haven’t seen a single tikona user who has ever said go for tikona
Tikona what’s this
tikona is Big no
Tikona provides the worst service. Dont even think of buying one.
Better go for other local providers or jio.
Local providers are best cheap and good
Do Check Local BB Providers. Also Check Speed If Someone Is Using JioFibre Is Already Using It In Your Area.
As some one above said, Check if MTNL/BSNL can provide FTTH..
Personal exp:
Tiokna worst (Area: Pune), Few Years back we had it, You never get actual speed, No Consistency, Calling Customer care is Nightmare, You need to wait n wait n wait, and they cut the call before speaking.. You cannot even close the connection.. They just dont accept your close request.. Even if they say they have closed your connection.. They need to take back device which they install.. No one comes to you to take back.. and after few months they will call and say they will take legal action..Google it, You can read stories for days..( JUST AVOID.. I dont know their present condition..
But I felt We(customer) dont deserve that type of treatment.
Jio Fibre (Area:Hyderabad and other areas): Good & Consistent (Talking about Free Days, still in dilema of taking Paid Plans)
Consistent Speed, Proper Customer Care, Faced minimal problems(2-3 mins downtime which resolved on own) I think they were issues which were caused due to testing..
Final word, Just Erase Tiokna from your mind. see I erased it, I dont even know their spelling.
Thank you all, I have registered on jio’s site for the fiber…..
Bhai pm me I will suggest u d best connection for you
I am also from Mumbai
@kushagraamit
PS I also had jio fiber now I am waiting for my refund.
Don’t you have BSNL or ACT fibre in your place? Also please remember stability is much more important than sheer inconsistent speed, and another important thing to keep in mind the true unlimited usage factor.
do not touch Tikona even if they pay you for it
