Do websites like Amazon, Flipkart etc. allow a user to change the primary number in an account or new account is the only solution? Also what about the email address? And can one change surname there after marriage?

The bills of the older orders will have name, email and mobile number of abcd and after the details are changed it will be a different account. Can that create any issues later?

Obviously
When one account gets flagged, it will/might the other too
Unlike the usual case where websites link accounts based on same address/IP/MACadd.. this is like giving them direct access

Flagged as in? If the account is in your name using ur mail address and number and then it is changed to mine it shouldn’t be an issue but since old orders were in ur name the companies might create one. As these companies are blocking accounts nowadays so thought of confirming first.

Flagged as in.. suspicious activity (w.r.t orders/refunds/replacements) recorded from any of your accounts
The problem doesn’t lie with changing or mail address/numbers but the history of the newly updated email/number matters. If they’re new/unregistered then there’s no reason to fear for account blockage

My friend got married and his wife is from other town. Now if she changes the address, surname etc. then all fine, right?

If she changed surname in her PAN, then change it in Amazon else leave it as is. If mobile and email belongs to her and not linked with any other Amazon accounts, then it’s safe to update.
