I have SBI Car insurance. Last year they suggested for Future Generali Car Insurance. I know these showroom owners earn commission.

Why i am using?

Ans: My car Showroom recommended me to go with SBI for hassle free and cashless service.

I would prefer to go with Government Insurance Companies. Like Oriental, United.. etc.

If you have a option – go with dealer suggested insurance..(some showrooms will have tie up with insurance companies) incase of claims they will take care of everything.

that’s one terrible option as it’s heavily out priced by other players. One can easily save 40% or so opting for other options.

I have had good experience with both: Tata AIG and HDFC Ergo. I’ve used one of these 2, for nearly a decade (with 2 separate vehicles).

I have been opting for Acko since 4 years now. No claims so far so can’t comment on how reliable they are but the price is super competitive. Also, haven’t heard any scary reviews about them yet.
