The telecom regulator said they must also offer at least one “plan voucher, one special tariff voucher and one combo voucher”, which will be renewable on the same date of every month.

The telecom regulator TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) today said telecom companies must offer at least one plan voucher, one special tariff voucher and one combo voucher having a validity of 30 days.

That ship has sailed long back. Since it was Jio who pioneered this concept there’s little to no hope.

But they have not fixed the price, so telcos will launch pack worth 300 for 30days validity joy

It should have been that 24-day and 28-day plans should be removed altogether and only 30-day plans should be allowed as monthly recharges. But our beloved Titular Regulatory Authority has shown the strength of their spine again.

BSNL is even worse in this regard from what I can tell.
