I have observed this and tested myself… may or may not work 100%… but my personal observation is that it increases chances to get user specific offer

Set your default address to smaller cities like Moga, Patiala, Aurangabad, Nashik, Sangli etc… keep that as default address
and you will get more user specific offer…. if it does not work too, then I don’t know

I have 3 accounts, I recd 10% cb upto 100 on GC on 2 accounts which are non-prime. But no offer on Prime a/c. All have same default address. Same happened during last GIF sale as well
in 5 of my account with hometown address, I did get offer
in my 2 account with Mumbai address, I did not get

I live in a rural area, default is that only.. still I don’t get many offers(of the user specific ones).
This is classic case of data mining.
AZ is analysing big data where the AI engine is offering a push to users it sees as likely prospect to buy sooner.
But the offers wouldn’t last long because machine learning will catch up on you.
Few years back just keeping a item in cart and leaving was sufficient for Amazon to give a discount.
No point in all this tire 3 city address accidently might order a cell phone on that address and your uncle will be very happy for the gift.
