Trick To Use JioPhone Rs 49 Plan In Any Normal 4G VoLTE Smartphone, Reliance Jio launched a new JioPhone specific plan of Rs 49 last week, saying that only JioPhone users can recharge this tariff plan. And rightly so because Jio already had a Rs 153 plan designed for JioPhone users itself. However, you can use the Rs 49 recharge plan on any normal 4G supported smartphone. I don’t think it will work as I have already check with Rs 153 plan.
U r asking to insert smartphone sim in jiophone and do recharge.. After recharge remove and use it smartphone… That’s what u r trying to say?
But this everybody know.The point that everybody want to know is that whether i can use my other sim and insert into Jio phone and does a recharge and reinsert back to my other phone.
To be precise Suppose i have jio phone with default sim X and i Recharge it with Rs 49 plan. Now i have redmi 4 with Sim Y in it. I insert the Y sim in jio phone and recharge with same Rs 49 plan and reinsert it in my redmi phone so will that work… As i recharged two sim for the same plan under one phone… Pls clarify on this.

Actually, by this process you can only use VOICE service but you will not be able to use data service at all (not even in 64kbps).
But sure you can use voice service for talking Unlimited with family and friends (Remember if you use any jio sim’s Voice service for commercial purposes Jio will block you.)

How would they track that the number is being used for commercial purpose? Any1 faced similar problem?
always open a login page and say to recharge your number when try to open 49 plan in normal VoLTE phone. but calling and SMS service work well.

can i use my old jio sim in a new jio phone.. i dont want to change the number. will i get benefit of 49 recharge?

Completely waste.. don’t trust this and Don’t do this. I have two jiophones and two 4g volte smartphone with all jio sim card.. i tried this trick two times.. i have wasted my 49 + 49 rs both the time. After recharge and inserting sim in smartphone.. ivr will still say.. you don’t have balance to call.

I take new jio phone with new sim, recharged 534 total cost 1100 for jio phone. Able to call from jio phone but unable to call through 4 g phone with out LTE , . UNABLE TO CALL THROUGH JIO 4 G VOICE

Do not try that. Not only is that against Jio’s T&C, but also illegal. You may end up in big trouble.

Yep, same here. I took the SIM out of my backup JioPhone that I charge with 49 plan and put it in JioFi. When I connected to the hotspot, I got a message from Jio that said “You are not connected to internet… You will be unable to use a JioPhone plan in a smartphone”. Interesting, there is a link to make the payment and that works, so they are only allowing data to their servers.
OK, in Sep 2022 , what is the current situation?
I have a backup Jiophone which is malfunctioning sometimes. Will recharging with 75 with sim inside the jiophone just enable me to call/sms when put in smartphone? Do not care about data.
Is it possible in 2023?
