Activa - teeny tiny smoother engine and better service center experience for sure.
TVS - bigger boot, wheels, seat, adjustable suspension etc, so every other thing is better here. But the service center experience might not be good. I'm an owner of Jupiter 110 BS6 for more than 4 years now and the only scenario when I miss Activa is when I'm running on the highway or going uphill and the throttle is more than 80% open. The newer version of Jupiter might not have this issue, so can't say. But despite its shortcomings, I'll still buy it again if I have to.
Jupiter for sure. Activa is just old junk at this point running only on laurels earned 15 years back.
Honda Activa for sure. You can't go wrong with a Activa. We have two of them, the 6G ones and have owned almost all the generations of Activas. It is super reliable, simple to own and maintain, have all the necessary features excluding the gimmicks, never let us down and easy to sell once the times comes to upgrade.
There is a reason why it is the best selling scooter in India for more than a decade now.
Go for Jupiter 110 undoubtedly.. It is overall better than Activa..
Funny how every alternate person is recommending alternate option
After reading the above review , op will get more confused. Disclaimer: I am also going to buy Jupiter 125 next week. I am current user of honda activa.
Issue with Jupiter:
Very less availability of the Parts and Service. It also depends on the location, but mostly I heard the same thing about the TVS. Jupiter looks promising at first, but on a long run they becomes nightmare.
Local garages are well aware of the Activa compared to Jupiter.
PS: I own both for about 10+ years now.
even i am looking for jupiter and consfused to choose between petrol or ev. daily running is generally 5/6 km.
Monthly petrol used is approx 1000+
EV isn't worth if you don't have atleast 30+ Kms running. Go for Petrol
Buy ola pls.I am in loss. 😭
