I am looking for a daily commute(15 km approx in city) 2 wheeler for my father. I have shortlisted TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa 6G. (any better alternative?)

Maintenance will be same for all scooter types.. easy spare availablity and affordable.
Resale value and reliability is somewhat low when compared to activa.
Search e scooter on your local areaa
before 6G, Activa doesn’t offer even telescopic suspension
Depends on what price you’re getting
Milege will be good in both if you do timely service and oil replacement.
comfort depends on the individual’s body structure.
for a city commute, I don’t think you’re face issues for a part replacement for both.
take a test drive for both on same day.
bought Jupiter, not bad. simple problem from delivery, they have not solved… very bad service center
Honda Activa 6G. U will get approx 50 kmpl with a butter-smooth durable ride with a very very good resale price in case of upgrading to a better vehicle.

What is the price difference in both?
Jupiter is 4-5k cheaper than Activa
Why not electric scooter?
Reliability and cost due to less subsidy at that time. 2 wheeler with decent battery backup costs more than 1 lac.
