Ah such a shame. It was coming, difficult to survive in a cutthroat, competitive market, and UE was haemorrhaging money.
After the demise (last gasps) of Food panda, and , now Uber Eats, it’s virtually a monopoly of the big two players left in the field for food delivery.
Might allow them to consolidate and shore up some capital and confidence, but bad for consumers, UE used to have some good offers, heh.

uber eats used to bring far restaurants (which swiggy never do) order to my home and for some weird reasons.. zomato only offers 6 marwari/jain restaurants to my home 😐
Will miss UE
P.S. don’t hate me I’ve nothing against vegetarian ppl but i make veg dishes everyday 😁 and I dont like jain food.

Zomato is useless.
They don’t give discounts and add heavy additional charges in name of tax and restaurant charges, thats why I stopped using it 2 years ago.
Now still swiggy exists and it is far better than zomato .Even closing Uber eats I will not use Zomato for which reason Uber eats was acquired.
Uber eats gives unlimited 50% discount on some good restaurants which no other site could give.

What ! Really? I’ll miss uber eats!

Zomato is worst.. They deliver from restaurants which are nearly 5 km from my location. Ubereats had no boundaries.. I hate zomato and stopped using it around 1 year before. Surely I’m gonna miss ubereats as it was my favourite and used to give heavy promotions on top restaurants.. zomato is full of shit taxes and zero promotions.. Dammn

Buying competition seems to be primary business of Zomato and delivering food secondary.
