I agree that final year exams should not be cancelled but how are the students going to be prepared for the exam? Under the circumstances once should not go out, thus the students either need to put themselves at risk and their family members by going out to teachers’ place or coaching centres, or study all by themselves or do online classes. The latter are not really useful options for studying. As someone born in the late 80s i can’t imagine how studying is possible via video chats on internet!

So one needs to think which is more important, life or education. I think they need to come up with a way so that students can appear for the exams from their home, through internet maybe. But not all the students have stable internet/ broadband in their homes either!

It’s a messy situation.

Yes agree with u but also most of the people in rural areas do not have access to stable internet and enough connection speed to watch online videos and stuff also only 60% of the complete portion was taught in the college

Yes, exactly. We have already seen this kind of reports many times over last few weeks, students committing suicides because they do not have internet access and were unable to join online classes. It’s horrifying. They have to think of the students living in the villages, they don’t have all the facilities we enjoy. If they are planning on conducting exams physically then that will be a massive blunder.
