Report with cc helpline. They will give you temporary credit until the matter is solved. You dont need to pay that amount until the matter is solved. Amex cards are most vulnerable to frauds. Happened with me 5-6 years ago for around 20k. Got resolution in around 3 months that it was not done by me
The worst part is they say it is all otp verified but I have not received any otp.

Do and don't s after reading this
* always turn off international transaction in ur card and enable it only when u do international traxn and again turn it off afterwards
* keep ur card temporarily deactivated when not in use or at least when u r not planning touse it soon.
* always inform bank asap as per RBI guide.

As far as I know AMEX is the best in resolving frauds.
Yes they have provided temporary credit.. blocked my card.. they r in talks with the merchant for now.. let's see what happens
