Hi Team, i was casually looking at my cibil report, and i found that IDFC made an unauthorised consumer loan enquiry in January. Can you please help with the following:

1. Is this even possible? I have an IDFC credit card, but can they submit any loan enquiry without my consent?

2. I raised this to the bank, and they are asking for cibil report (pdf). Which app/ website should i use to get free cibil report pdf? (I used Amazon pay to view my cibil on 15th march.) Will checking the cibil again, impact anything, in anyways?

Sorry. I didn't get this point.

I am holding IDFC First bank credit card since last year. I haven't applied for any card of any loan this year, and yet in my cibil report there is a mention of enquiry made by IDFC in Jan. My question is, can they make enquiries without our consent?

Btw, IDFC guyz called.. as usual, they said it was due to some technical glitch. They will get this dropped at cibil's end.

Do u have saving account with them ? If so it will be one of the following..

Apart from cc they were offering consumer durable loan via easy emi card just like Bajaj emi card. If any limit was created then it will reflect in the cibil..

They r offering it for most the sb account holders by default..

Otherwise it may be debit emi limit facility... Check whether u have any debit card emi limit available...
