Recently on 03.04.2022 around 5. P.M I faced an Unauthorised transaction of Rs.14850/- from my Flipkart Axis Credit Card and t I have not received any messages relating to the transaction and same came to my knowledge on 07.4.2022 when I checked my statement in Axis Bank application the 4 transactions which were showing for the amount of Rs.14850/- are debited for FLIPKART PAYMENTS BANGALORE, later I immediately reported to the bank officials and reported the Incident they blocked my card and ensured to conduct an investigation within 60 days.
Meantime I also reported to the Flipkart team but they not respond and refused to give any information and called again to Axis customer care for reporting to the Police station but they clearly stated not required to approach.
Thereafter, they emailed me that they are not liable to refund or waive off the amount and if not satisfied with their reply instructed me to report to the Nodal officer, when I forward the incident report to the Nodal officer after a week they replied the following email

We would like to inform you that the above transactions are secured transactions which cannot be done unless the person is in possession of a credit card OTP Secure PIN, which is confidential in nature and known only to the cardholder unless the cardholder divulges the same to a third party.
Kindly note that the customer is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password, registration data and other verification information, Axis Bank is not liable for loss or damage if any, arising from the customer’s failure to comply with the terms of service.
and now they are directed to approach the Banking Ombudsman and report to police authorities, now its turned into a headache and time consuming for me anyhow I have to fight against this so decided to take this incident further by reporting to the ombudsman and Cybercrime police in Bangalore.
I have seen many customers of Axis bank report unauthorised transactions on this platform, please share your valuable feedback and experience. and keep updating the issue.
