Maybe due to elections some benefits may be announced

My Budget expections

1. first and foremost is basic exemption limit should be increased from current 2.5 lakhs to 3 lakhs(highly unlikely last hike was on 2014 budget by late arun jaitely)

2. Standard deduction should be increased to 75000 from 50000 because of work from home expenses

3. parents excluding senior citizens medical insurance should be increased to 50000 from 25000

4. For godsake, 80c limit should be increased to 2.5 Lakhs. Last revised on 2014 budget

5. Interest on home loan limit should be increased to 2.5 lakhs from 2 lakhs

6. Atlast 5% deduction for individuals who are earning above 10 L ( Even EWS category people are being called as poor for earning above 8 lakhs)

Expecting atleast 3 announcements out of the above 6.

I know it’s too much for tax payers to expect from Nirmala and current bjp regime. Still hoping for miracle because of upcoming 5 states assembly eelctions

As usual political litterers , gang the thread and completely change the direction of threads , informative , suggestions and debatable threads are being regularly diverted by some paid dimers by making unnecessary memes , comments and the whole purpose of thread is lost .

But this Budget speech will serve as an advertisement opportunity for the UP, right under the nose of Election Commissioner. She will announce packages to lure Kisans of UP and Punjab and to whomsoever concerned in Goa 😀  and media will have debates round the clock to fit the narrative in the minds of voters. But elections on crucial State UP is near. So I don’t think old regime will go. But yes there will be some incentive given to move to new tax regime for sure

No social security, no medical benefits , no free And quality education for honest tax payer. And then pay Indirect tax like all other folks of this country.

As a salaried middle class person who pays taxes every year, NOTHING. Government will do nothing for tax paying citizens as we are busy trying to earn a honest living and paying our taxes and don’t have time to unify and tell government to treat us fair.

People have been demanding increase in 80c limit from 1.5L to say 2.5L or so but nothing is being done. In fact I suspect they will completely remove 80c and only have new regime. 

Government Will Focused on AGRI SECTOR MORE!
