using this for nearly 2 years. good reception and advantage of built in battery. used it with Jio, MTNL and Airtel SIMs. Sometimes keep it running for 2-3 days continuously. Wifi works well in a 1800 sqft flat, kept centrally.

How about this one https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32484034869.html?... The one with both LTE FDD and TDD support costs ~Rs 1.8k minus any discount as applicable. I would think it’s best to avoid one with a battery as replacement can be hard to get hold off in case it doesn’t run directly of off the AC Mains. Potential drawback would be the UI. Might not allow locking to a specific RAT/band. Also less community support. I had purchased a ZTE MF825A for Rs 700 from ebay after 500 discount. Qualcomm chip. No wifi built-in though. Lasted 3 years until one of the SIM pins was broken. User fault though. Plenty of support on (Russian ) 4pda forum. Miss ebay. Aliexpress isn’t a like-for-like replacement.
