
Unprofessional behaviour by kotak

Recieved call 2 days ago from kotak regarding the same offer , they took the request on call.
Yesterday recieved message of kotak application rejection and in email their reason is "evaluation of credit history not satisfactory". After this email i checked my cibil report and they have done 2 enquiries on cibil.
Even after they rejected my application they've been sending me communications regarding ltf pre approved league platinum cc. Absolute stupid bank.
Does anyone know any nodal officer mail that i can escalate this to?.
Very hard to get any credit card from them….
Have fd based credit card… Spent more than 2 lakh on it… Still didn’t received any offer for credit card….
Has done good amount of transactions on it… If I would have done same on hdfc.. Would have got sure pre approved card….
Only thing good is free account with no sms charges and virtual card… But now jupiter and fi are there… So no use of it…. Only good thing about them is they give equal offers mostly for both dc and cc….

On a serious note: yes reach out to nodal officer directly mentioning the screenshots. Like Dhani fixed this issue of hampering CIBIL, I’m sure kotak can fix it too
Want to do that but unable to find a way to contact nodal officer. Don’t even wanna waste time explaining issue to normal customer care.
Kotak’s definition for Pre-Approved cards is different from others. When i applied for this League Platinum LTF, it took them about a week to approve the card (So, no instant approval like other banks).
And i got an sms/email from kotak that CC is approved three days post VCC appeared on the mobile app 😄
Kotak always does two Cibil hits.
btw, why did you even bother getting that card?
barely any worthy offers are there and everyone aggress Kotak cards are useless 😅

Only wanted for e-commerce offers and since it was ltf didn’t mind adding it to my purse. Had no idea they would hit the cibil twice even for pre approved offer.
Dont Apply Kotak Card Through Agents They Will Definitely Do Cibil Hit And Paid Card.

I think you need to approach banking ombudsman with all the proofs of prior communication with the bank at all levels from CC to principal nodal officer. Then only you can approach banking ombudsman. It is mentioned on RBI website.

U Gave Ur Consent To Apply On Behalf Of Agent!
I Also Did The Same Mistake, After Seeing The Annual Fees On The Consent Page I Refused To Give OTP And Closed The Page.
After 2-3 Days I Applied MySelf On App And Approved

Like @PowerStar mentioned, its not LTF unless you apply via their App/NetBanking with Annual/Joining Fees mentioned as Zero

Strange coincidence.
Yesterday, seen pre-approved royale signature card in account but annual fees was 999₹ so haven’t applied.
Called customer care and asked for any ltf card. They said it’s automatic and if any ltf cards you can see in app.
Today afternoon got a call from kotak customer care about same card stating it’s ltf, I asked for a mail they dropped it.
Then I applied through the call itself just by confirming address.
Let’s see, will update once card is delivered

It was mentioned as zero fees when i checked through the link they sent me while they were taking my consent on call
