UPI New rules – now you can make only 20 payments of amount less than Rs10 in a 30 day period or Attempt to do more than 60 transactions within a month
Condition 1 - now you can make only 20 payments of amount less than Rs10 in a 30 day period
Condition 2 - Attempt to do more than 60 transactions within a month
if your transaction failed then send money Rs11 or more
Note: Different banks have different transaction limits. For more details, please reach out to your bank UPI transaction failing for this reason.
NEW UPDATE – 100 successful UPI transactions limit is only for P2P (send money) transaction, no restriction on P2M (merchant UPI transaction or Merchant registered scan & Pay UPI transaction).

Paytm replied – Note that you can only undertake a maximum of 100 successful UPI transactions from the same bank account within a period of 30 days. This limit is imposed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in order to avoid any fraudulent activity from your account.
Now it’s understandable why so many people were facing UPI issues since last few days like txn failed/declined and all because they had already done 20+ txns of ₹10 in September month

I think monthly 100 UPI transaction limit is per UPI apps linked per bank account

Congress aayega toh UPI transaction pe charges laga dega, former RBI Governor (jo congress supporter ha) ka kahena ha ki Digital transaction me atleast Rs5 per transaction lena chahiye taki log jada se jada digital transaction kare.

Limit is not applicable on the buisness transaction, such as customer to buisness owner. So you can buy Cadbury of Rs 5 from shop using UPI , unlimited times.

I tried making payment of 20 via upi. The shopkeeper denied, saying they accept minimum 150 or so, quoting that his bank statement looks cluttered with all 10 rupees 20 rupees and he is feeling ashamed infront of his auditor when auditor points that his business is earning only 10s and 20s.
He need to shift to daily settlement instead of individual transaction settlement in phonepe business a/c Or gpay business a/c.but these people opt for instant settlement of funds as these people don't trust these apps.
