now upstox starts to take 2.5% brokerage compared to another 0.1% up to 20 max
totally out of market policy also not possible to square off sell of delivery without full extra margins
totally unfair practise
its time to close the account with them if that does not change this structure

Previously it didnt?
can you elaborate a bit?
It is "₹20 per executed order or 0.05% (whichever is lower)" for Equity Intra and Futures so where its 0.1%?
actually, that charged 2.5% brokerage so if you buy 800 rs shares then that charges 20 per trade highest in now in market
lets see how long mstocks will stand up , they already changed T&C once before around 1 year back i think when they tried to levy some charge and later reverted for 3000 paid customers
I have less hope on mstocks
earlier i had confirmed with their CC, for old users it will be same as what it was while signing up, when i signed up it was zero brokerage on delivery and i just checked my contract note for 1st november, it is zero only.
Ya only for old users (same for me) i.e very long back users before this new brokerage
weird
it seems I am left out of loop with finvasia
Otherwise they can't keep on supporting the platforms they provide.
Next, we shall get reports about groww... And later zerodha? Inevitable I think...
hehe at the end of the say they have to cut their profits a bit down and keep this zero delivery OR ELSE THEY WILL LOSE CUSTOMERS, since customers will LEARN TO MOVE TO BETTER SERVICE BROKERS, if everywhere there is charge BECOMES COMMON NORM:)
so i doubt every discount broker will implement this charges , if they do this ITS DEAD FOR THEM
All planned move. Then Jio will enter with free brokerage. Just wait and watch.
Free brokerage is possible in the system even now, just the brokers has to cut their profits:)
if this is planned move by JIO THEN ITS A FLOP
so free brokerage is not going anywhere:) it will be there (since discount brokers dont have many branches they dont have much operational cost apart from tech and few customer care executives)
so free brokerage is possible still, AT THE COST OF LESS PROFITS FOR BROKERS
Stills its maximum 20 rs per order right ?
For which trades?
