I don't think it's applicable to EOL'ed devices. Still no harm in calling the nearest service center to check. I am tempted to get a replacement battery for my less than 3 months old F4!

Edit: Poco India confirmed that F1 isn't covered under this offer. Expected as the device itself was deemed EOL early this year. Xiaomi isn't resurrecting support for EOL'ed devices.

I know. No harm in stocking up genuine batteries if it's available for cheap. Xiaomi seems to no longer stock batteries for as long as it did in the past. Plus unreasonably high, bordering on extortionate, price hikes have been a regular occurrence in the past once the device is a little old  so...

Stocking up?

Can we just buy the battery and replace it later?

Yes. I haven’t personally tried it but I have come across recent reports elsewhere. But at least one needs to insist on the original battery being returned in case a particular service center denies to replace the battery without actually installing it in the device.

Yes bhai. Poco M2 Pro gets 40% discount in battery. The list was with the service personnel.

Looks like stock clearance sale similar to the one last year. One can expect stocks to last for another few months following which the devices would be EOL'ed at least those that were launched 3-4 years back.

I called a few service centers and it seems this offer is mostly applicable  to a few years old models.

Have you confirmed with them if they provide spare batteries or with the handset only, if damaged?

I haven't personally verifed but they do provide batteries without installation if the customer insists. Call your nearest service center to confirm.

Surprising they have left out their most popular Redmi Note 5 pro mobile.

Perhaps no unsold piles of batteries to be rid off.
