A call came from mobikwik ccare .after i raised complaint regarding upi not working then he asked me to sent to [email protected]& ACTIVATE 8ad66b9616536f963968d868e083ffdd3916…. after this msg came from ad-axisbk ——Hello, you have successfully added you’re a/c XXXXXXXXXX5905 to Axis Mobile UPI app.

Nxt msg came from my reigistered bank 5000 deductions
Rs 5000.00 debited from a/c **3*** on 10-02-20 to VPA 9091732&@₹@paytm(UPI Ref No 00411686₹₹₹₹). Not you? Call on 18002586161 to report

Dedution is from hdfc … my hdfc upi in not even linked to paytm then how money got deducted??

I raised complaint to hdfc customer care regarding fruad transaction . She said will update in 24 hrs !!!
How is this possible without upi pin n without my knowledge my money got deducted

Mobikwik never call anyone…. Even they can’t care to talk, you give permission to hacker to access your upi account.

You heard sim fraud, its same.

I didn’t even send the confirmation message for CC approval. They Said we will generate message by ourselves. How to verify CC agents.

I informed immediately n tomorrow i ll go to hdfc bank branch n meet n tell them also

Raise dispute with NPCI about this fraud.

for any queries or complaints on your BHIM transactions.

Actually by sending that message you have given access of your upi account to fraudsters.

Right now immediately change your UPI Pin.

Transfer remaining money to other account.

File cybercrime complain online.

Be in touch with your bank if chargeback is possible (28 days time period)

In digitalization fraud is also growing on peak. Be cautious in future while dealing with upi and mobile banking. Never share your credentials.

Have you got dispute reference number? If yes,, no need to go anywhere. Your money will credit within 7 days.

This is nothing… Dekhte jao aage kya kya hota hai… Quickr, gpay, paytm k baad ab upi….

Digitalization is making our life easier but it is coming along with risks..

We needed to be extra careful.

But money deducted from hdfc bank butno upi app is linked to hdfc!!!! i linked to paytm 1yr back with hdfc and delinked within 1month .. today also i checked in paytm app its not linked

He used manual message tactic to activate the upi but how come he did the transaction without knowing the upi pin??

HDFC and paytm both have same phone number right ?
Ha*ker selected hdfc bank and you got message, its simple.
You must have set upi pin in hdfc long back which you are no longer using

We should disable upi from bank.
Deactivate upi profiles always which we do not use

Yes to change password OTP and card details are required else how the transaction was done is a mystery.
Atleast that’s how it works for normal people’s.

Actually i use dbs digi bank app which also doesn’t need any pin to transfer money to any vpa
Once i am logged in no pin is required for transactions.
But in order to register my account in new phone their is need of my user ID , password and two otps sent to my email and mobile no.
