My 7+ years old laptop has started giving motherboard and/or hard drive issues. I have some urgent documentation work to complete within the next 3 weeks, and my current laptop is unreliable. I’m looking to immediately order a new laptop to get this work done. After that, I’ll either sell it off or keep it as an alternate home laptop.
Please suggest a good basic laptop with 14" screen running win 10, preferably within 20k and available on Amazon. Need it only for browsing and reading PDFs.

bhai. Please don’t mind. Keep a look at second hand market. You ll get a good deal.
the lenovo one was available for 17k on tatacliq the price is now increased. it is still a better choice than windows laptop at this price range.
Buy a second hand or you can rent if you live in metro city.
there was a offer recently on tatacliq , it was a lenovo chromebook i think it would have been perfect for u. it was around 20k without offer and 17k with idbi offer will update link if i find it again.
update : the price is now increased but avilable on amazon for 21k still worth it.
Diagnose the problem, if it’s a motherboard issue then better to get a new one. If not, replace your hdd with a new ssd while using the hdd as an external one. A lot of older laptops can be saved by replacing the hdd with an ssd and/or increasing RAM.
Both motherboard and HDD have issues. Had reworked the motherboard 3 months ago. SMART status of HDD is also poor.
Buy from offline market…u will get instant delivery..and good services ..maybe exchange also
Please suggest me a laptop
Purpose- Android app development and Gaming.
Budget- 50-60k,
Calling @guest_999 as well.
Also, @ram</a>-bhaiya@ for best deal
*Try to Get a Second Hand laptop from OLX or purchase a Refurbished one From Local Dealers with Minimum 1 yr of Warranty & Don’t Forget to Get an Invoice.
*If portability doesn’t matter then 20k Is Enough for a Gaming pc built with refurbished processor& All brand new parts .
*You can’t find a Decent Deal for 20k Either it Will be Celeron/Athlon or Pentium in this Price Range & these processor are not good at all.so Don’t invest 20k on that.
@guest_999 @Ram Is this a good option? Looking for a laptop for Engg student. Budget 50k. Planning to buy from Axis Grab deals on Axis card to get 10% CB.
Yes it is a good option but do keep in mind that as per some online comments the oled vivobook series laptops have just avg battery backup(still 2-3 hours I think on power saving mode with reduced screen brightness) but this is not an issue unless you use your laptop mostly during travel & without charging facility available nearby.
guys please give your suggestions
