Urgent - what is the difference in side berths of 2AC vs 3AC?

Does it make sense to pay 500 rupees additional for 2ac? Because both 2ac and 3ac will have similar (2 tier) side berths. Then what's the advantage of 2ac?

6 seats in a compartment of bogie for 2nd AC and 8 seats for the same in 3rd AC (only major difference). Moreover spacious seats, less crowd in 2nd AC. Worth it if you are an introvert and you like peace while traveling.

I travelled in 2AC last week on side lower.. railway start providing curtain now so u will get a complete private space for side lower and side upper..

Just completed 2AC side lower journey. Update:

Seat is slightly longer and maybe slightly wider than 3AC. Curtains are provided. There is also a single long plan seat which is kept hidden, we can use that while sleeping to avoid the cave in at the center joint of 2 seats. Slightly less crowded. But I was given last seat so still people kept banging the door. Overall, maybe it is not 500 rupees more than 3AC side lower.
