For people who use torrents or telegram to watch pirated content, you must know the pain of downloading and finding the right content.
This is basically Netflix (and any other OTT platform) for torrents.
Now streaming torrents is actually painful and can buffer a lot, which is where debrid services come in.
I use alldebrid for that. Debrid services are basically torrent caching services that would provide you with super fast torrent streaming.
Stemio is a really good app for all platforms: android, Linux, mac, android tv, and windows, and works seamlessly.
It syncs your watch list, support subtitles, scribbling, chromecast, syncs addons and has a really nice interface.
Basic steps, on how to use it:
- Install the app and create an account.
- Install Torrentio
- Start watching movies (but 4k streams will buffer because torrents can't sequentially handle lot of data). To prevent buffering: use alldebrid which costs some money.
- Buy alldebrid premium account and generate API key.
- Configure alldebrid API key for Torrentio addon in stremio torrentio config.
PS: Do all these^ steps in laptop/mobile (not in TV). Install in TV later and simply login.
Cost of alldebrid: 3 EUR per month (~ Rs 240) - This is way too cheap compared to Netflix or any other OTT. Consider that you have access to almost every content in this world that ever existed.
(Large prepaid plans are cheaper 25 EUR for 300 days ~ 2.5 EUR/month)
PRO tip - Use Fi card / Niyo global to bypass the Forex charge.
Let me also cater to the anti-piracy squad and justify why content piracy makes sense for us (many people might disagree including dd admins)
- There are way too many OTT platforms and it is not practical to buy each one of them to watch some particular content.
- People in the large-scale industry are stinking rich and I do not want to pay them my hard-earned pennies. (We're poor
) - Almost every movie/series earns enough through various sources (direct streaming, ads, selling rights, product placements, etc) to cover the costs.
- Almost the complete crew is on fixed payment and not on a royalty basis.
- If you want to really contribute to the small production company, just go and buy a physical copy but do not pay for kings of Bollywood and Hollywood. They are filthy rich. They do not deserve my hard-earned money.
- And given that we dimers are so misers, we anyway are not going to pay for paid content. Watching free content would not hurt them. I was not going to pay for it anyway. They can consider, that I never watched it. If they're really eager for me to pay, they can work on stopping piracy or make content so good that I'm compelled to watch that in a movie theatre.

It's all about weighing the pros and cons.
I know it looks foolish to pay for piracy at first, but you get access to all the content in the world at the highest possible quality at a very minimal price. All platforms, unlimited screens on same IP.

I did try stremio but as expected, performance is not great due to no realdebrid.
I instead have a 24x7 torrent box in form of Raspberry Pi 4 with an external HDD attached. For the actual media download, I use Sonarr, Radarr and combined with a torrent client like transmission (qbittorrent is also good) and for actual media consumption, I use Jellyfin.
Sonarr is linked to my telegram account so if something is grabbed and downloaded, I get notified on telegram.
The flavor of OS I use on RPi4 is DietPi because I was (still am) a noob when I got my Pi and was suggested this, and it has been serving great.
For anyone curious, there is no tutorial per se. It is something you learn while researching and installing and even messing up in due course.

Another trick is to Download qbitorrent (it's the best period also opensource) then click on view and then search engine. It will make you install python then go to search tab and select update plugins and voila. You can search any name of series or movie and it will show up. Right click on it and start download the file. Go to download and select "download sequentially" and you can start playing the file right away

I have been watching 4k content since I bought debrid for a year..
I stream no less than 50GB per movie and it has been surreal.. Dolby vision and ultimate quality even paid OTT can not provide..

I am using stremio and have installed netfilx, torrentio and other addons. It also show netflix catagloue under discover. However it is not streaming most of the content and gets stuck meaning the screen does not start moving at all and just display the title. I thought something wrong in the way I am doing it but then it does stream some of the movies very smoothly. Disabled antivirus and switched VPN location but nothing helped.
Whether all debrid will be useful here. My issue is not resolution but initiation itself is the problem. I am lower class flexible dimer so any resolution is fine for me but I am not able to access all content though I can access some of them when I use torrentio. For netfilx I am not able to access any content. I read somewhere that direct streaming for netflix is not possible for stremio and we have to access the link by some tactic. Can anyone guide where I may be wrong and whether all debrid can help me?

You don't need to install Netflix addon
Only torrentio will work but the streaming will be slow without debris.
You can try streaming 1080p 1-2gb movies and they probably will stream okay without debris but for 4k, you will need debris for buffer free
