Vi Port SMS

Got 1gb/day free pack by Vi on number with no recharge. Outgoing, incoming also working. SMS also working.

But port sms to 1900 not working. Main balance is there.

When trying to send SMS "PORT 9999999999 to 1900, first shows sending and after 5-10 seconds shows "Message not sent. Phone number formatted incorrectly."


Any solution/trick ?

You are replacing that 999.. with your actual number right?
Also maybe check number of spaces

Port immediately from vi as nothing good left now there they are blocking incoming sms too

During the freebie period OG SMS had never worked in my case other than PORT SMS. However the latter also was blocked in the last few months.

but after reciviing port message, I got special offer from VI, call from them to explain special offer ... They are trying hard to keep me. Major problem is network issue. what to do with such an amazing offers and discounts?

The mobile connection will be deactivated if there is no call (outgoing or incoming) or an outgoing

SMS or a data session (upload or download) or usage of Value Added Services, for a continuous period

of 90 days and in case the main account balance is less than Rs. 20/-, at the discretion of VIL. Upon

deactivation, all account balances will be forfeited and a grace period of 15 days will be provided

within which the subscriber can retain the deactivated number by paying a fee of Rs. 20/-. If the

subscriber main account balance is Rs. 20/- or more, a number retention charge of Rs. 20/- for every

30 days will be automatically deducted and the non-usage period will be extended by 30 days.
