So, most probably it all started with Gpay Indi Home Link Sharing Telegram Groups. A msg popped up in inbox for link sharing and so on a new friendship began with a new buddy without knowing his real motive and it goes on from telegram to whatsapp within few hours and here the real game begins.
Suddenly a video call popped out with a beautiful girl showing herself ( You guessed it right 😉 ) and the fun begins here for less than 2 minutes and after few moments a whatsapp message popped up demanding ransom of Rs.1000 otherwise the video will be viral all over the internet.
What Next.......is to deal with this issue. A small trust on unknown person became a nightmare. So choose wisely while u share your links with others because you are sharing your information too.
Here's the screenshot attached so that other dimers must not fall in the trap.
Also the trapper provided one more no. for payment 9464216863.

Any senior dimer here who can suggest where and how to complain regarding this. According to the no. provided i am sure they are running a gang and trapping people.

Use dhamka do jaa jo karna hai karle mere mama IB mai hai sab dekh lenge, jahan viral karna hai karde bus 1 ghnate ruk aise karke kuch accha sa likh do, aur agar wo sahi mai karde to family members ko bol Dena random number se video call aai dhyaan nhi diya utha li aur udhar se kuch dikh nhi rha tha, etc etc usne edit ki hai video mera isse koi lena dena nhi hai, aise karke boldo.

Happened with a known person. Told him to complaint and the police directly talked on that number on WhatsApp. After that no call or message asking for money.

In case your cousin is worrying, ask him to not take any tension, ask the scammer to share it wherever he can, do take family into confidence though.
Contact cyber cell for complaint, but don't expect any quick action.

Just say those scammer do whatever you want to do
. Actually my frnd was married thts why he took thy decison in panic .
Scammer threatened to upload the video in facebook even have uploaded and send ss of it .
Bt there is no guarantee that after paying he won't upload

There's nothing to worry about. Let them share it "All India". Bunch of retards trying to scam others. They can do nothing to harm him except share the video. But if he allows them to blackmail him and get the money, that'll start a neverending cycle. So, advice him to block this person and move on.

Just tell her to leak videos and he is not going to pay a single penny. When the scammers realise that the person is not at all scared by their allegations they will automatically leave him.

@Pikachu bro immediately ask him you delete his FB. Temporary deactivate. Their next step would be send that video to Facebook friends connected on messenger. & they will start with those fb users marked as Family. Like Uncle Mother etc etc. Instagram ask him to remove all unknowns & make account private. So that scammer doesn't know who is his friends. & bro ASAP

Pro tip : Always keep your camera blocked with your finger tips if you are not sure what's coming for you via such pop-ups or links. 
Never ever buckle under pressure!! If you pay,they will ask for more!!

1. Don’t give money. They will keep asking for more.
2.Deactivate Fb, Instagram, etc for a few days… in case scammer tries to share video to contacts, although probability is very low.
3. Tell the scammer that you don’t care & share all you want. Also, can’t pay money as you are poor/student. Will complain if contacted again.
4. If scammer contacts again- Ask someone with a mature & heavy voice to talk to scammer & threaten them that they will track down the mobile number & bank accounts & will make them celebrity then. Can talk as a police officer as well.
5. Meanwhile keep records of all their blackmailing stuff.. call history, recording, screenshots, etc. Just in case.
6. At the personal level, comfort cousin that 99% chances are that scammer is bluffing & will back off once he/she understands that no money is there. And for the 1% chance, ask him to grow up.. & understand that these things happen in life & people move on & no-one cares.
7. Again, don’t ever give money to any blackmailer. They are insatiable & will always demand more.

Bro, ask your cousin not to panic, would you great If you meet him and give him some courage, If not on call, discuss the incident in family and get him support from everyone, once you make his mind clear that there is nothing to panic he will move on quickly with it after everyone's support.
Secondly, with something like happening why don't WhatsApp come up with some feature like no calls from the contacts not saved with us, something like their status privacy thing.
P. S - I don't use WhatsApp hence not sure If such feature already exist, however I recommend to keep it on.

But isme paise iss ACC se apne main me send kiye honge isliye ek FIR register karne ko bolo aur cyber crime me bhi complaint dalne ko bolo. In a much bigger format of the scam, the scamsters send bulk mails, sms, whatsapp to random users with the same content - that they recorded your viewing porn sites and will share on internet if not paid.
Ironically most people sometime or the other access porn sites and are some of them are likely to fall in the trap.
