Translation : "Over the phone, Shivani Pawar informed ETV that the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) had set up trials for Olympic Qualification. A wrestler is only permitted to compete in one weight category under United World Wrestling (UWW) regulations, however, Vinesh was permitted to compete in two weight categories. She participated in both the 50 kg and 53 kg weight categories. After I objected, I was given permission to compete. I was leading by five points when suddenly points were awarded against me, and Vinesh was declared the winner. I had filed a complaint about this with the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). Shivani had been training for the 50 kg Olympic wrestling competition for the previous 3 years."

I am shocked and appalled after learning of Shivani Pawar's ordeal. Shame on Vinesh Phogat and the system for having let down a promising young talent from a poor family. It's so sickening!! 

most probably all these thing not good now, if this was happened than it must be covered by the media

One critical question , the story mentioned here is for which event because there were no trials conducted for Paris Olympics.

I know there is a lot of politics involved but please don't do mud slinging when we don't have the entire picture. Atleast do some basic google search.

Based on whatever being shared in media, I feel Wrestling Federation Of India needs to be revamped. There are multiple 'groups' operating within the federation and there are no clear guidelines for selection.

Long time back I saw a documentary regarding how athletes prepare for weighing for their category and how they starve or take drastic measures to reduce weight on that day. It is known fact every athlete who compete in weight category always plays in a category lower than his weight. Its for boxing weight lifting wrestling may be for judo or taekwondo.

Jabardasti kaise koi khel sakta hai.. rule to hoga na.. rule me jo fit hoga wahi khelega ya disqualification.. baki sab kahne ki baate hain..also heared there is grace extra weight 2kg.. so total 2kg 100 gm was extra... sajish to tab hoga jab bracket fit na hote hue bhi khel le.. but 2kg plus 100 gm badha kaise 1 din me.. I dont understand aisa to possible hi nahi.. na itna koi kha sakta hai na hi pet me rakh sakta hai.. kuchh to jhol hai.trying understand in layman language..

Lol everyone is acting expert here whereas it was clearly said this is not first time an athlete crossed liimit. But from commentary it was clear that usually these atheletes are used to reducing weight just before their game. 

All papers have their agenda to make it political. Shameful people attacking an Olympian who gave her sweat and blood for the game.
