1/ No idea why VLC is banned. -> VLC is french project not Chinese. -> For those taking about Cicada malware campaign, plz understand that a very outdated is vulnerable to DLL Hijacking (patched in 2010) and the threat actor need to install outdated VLC version for that attack. 2/ Attacker would install a genuine VLC (but version below 1.1.4) and replace a DLL file in its current working directory. This is common among many threat actors but see it’s conditions. Cicada first breached networks though a Microsoft Exchange server, using some other flaw. Offline vids matlab pirated movies. Bakwas naa. Legal way me dekhna chahiye naa.

Aur baaki raha WhatsApp forwards ki. Unsolicited messages toh spamming hota hai naa. But agar kabhi kabaar saal, 1-2 din bhi chalega, me desh ke liye passion aa jae toh forwards nai, khud do tin line likhke bhejna chahiye.

There's only one good thing in VLC - You can play all types of video files.

But video quality is worst. I personally tested the same video on CyberLink Power DVD player and VLC.

Huge difference between videos quality on both the players.

Bro video quality will be same for all video players if all the "player enhancements" are off & all use same renderer(the actual component which displays video on screen). VLC by default use its own custom filter settings enabled by default hence the relatively poor video quality plus it doesn't support the best video renderer(madvr).

@Jarvis.-. Try madvr renderer with pot player or mpc-be, they are much better than vlc at least for viewing videos.
