The less subscribers on the network, the more fast their internet gets.

Less traffic, more available bandwidth.

VI is currently the best. They give double data 4gb/day on 84 day recharge

I agree to this, hope they introduce the VoFi compatibility soon.

There is some scam/cartel agreement going on. Try porting your number to Vodafone from Jio or Airtel. Retailers will not let you do that. They will say go for Airtel /Jio with various reasons.

When the remaining service providers in a particular industry are having the same rates for comparable products, there is some sort of price agreement among them, which is against anti competitive laws of any country.

Vi is best in my area it gives 40-50 mbps whereas Jio is unable to reach even 4-5 mbps (BSNL faster than Jio).

However as I use broadband, my internet is taken only as a backup and when I’m not at home.

Jio 1299 plan seems good (when we use top-up method we get 179 GB data too which roughly translated to 500mb/day) it’s tempting a lot I’ll save approx ₹600-700/year however Jio speeds are so slow I’m thinking twice.

For Vi/Airtel there’s no provision so 1499 will give only 24GB for entire year which isn’t sufficient for me. If I put ₹1550 in Jio I’ll get 500mb/day fir 336 days which is price wise much better but Jio speeds are unacceptable.

What should I do?

I’m very confused. Generated port request 3-4 times to switch from Vi to Jio just to save the ₹600-700 (I use one and only one SIM).

If I had no WiFi at home Vi is undoubtedly best

Vi gave new year offer of extra 50 GB on 1499, total 74 GB, during new year. Not sure if its still available.
