Vi went a step forward and implemented the new tariffs one day earlier from 25th November 2021
Finally we have a Cartel in telecom industry. Who should we leave and who should we join? No one will keep prices low now considering there aren’t a lot of players left

Does Vi allow plan queueing?
Officially Vi customer care says they do not allow or have the provision of any plan queuing however as per multiple SMS received from Vi by users and by personal experience, Vi does allow plan queuing however it’s not easy as Jio and some points need to be followed
The conditions for queueing in Vi are :-
1. Same plan amount which you are currently having must be recharged (for example if you are currently using the ₹399 plan having 1.5GB data/day + UL calls/SMS for 56 days then only you can recharge again with the same ₹399 plan to queue it, if you recharge with other plan it’ll get overridden
2. Plan should be an unlimited one (plans such as 79 which offer a fixed amount of data are NOT eligible to be queued)
3. Plan should give/have daily quota data benefits (like a fixed GB/day) else it’s not eligible for queuing (the ₹379 plan gives a fixed 6GB data for entire plan duration and unlimited calls and SMS per day for 84 days – in this case the data is fixed and does not reset or renew everyday so it’ll not queue)
Lastly since Vi doesn’t officially tell anything there is always some risk however people including me have tried and it works

This link says Jio is planning to go opposite Airtel and Vi. Will not increase the tarrifs.

What about bsnl plans, thinking of porting to bsnl, need number only to recv calls and sometimes or never send sms

2GB daily/day is user specific and yes it does queue I tried day before yesterday however queueing will only work on daily quota data plans and only when same data plan which is currently running is recharged. Also only unlimited data plan will work

May not go for yearly recharges as vi is not reliable in my location.
Have you got any info about how many max plans or max days can be queued??
You mentioned you may not go with yearly as it’s not reliable so you want to queue small plans. There’s no officially mentioned limit I have personally tested 7-8 with a total validity of around 1.5 years

Experiencing blank calls every now and then for a year. Tried raising multiple complaints, but nothing was done. Ported to Airtel a few days ago.

Yes…people are telling call validity is extended but you will loose data validity
These day light robbers (companies) are having merry & so called watch dog is sleeping

So need to recharge 99 plan even to send SMS to 1900.
we need competition otherwise these guys will reap people.I blame the Govt. for allowing Jio to give free data which was the start of it.
Just want to update about differential plan stacking.
Recharged a vi number with existing 379 plan which was valid till 10 Dec 2021 and had 5.9GB data balance with 1499 plan.
Plan got extended to 10 Dec 2022 and data remaining 29.9GB.
Might be useful for many users. Last few hours to go.

for VI users – on the app in recommended section check for 399 double data + 5GB extra it gets added n multipe recharges

Just queued Rs. 1499 plan on top of Rs. 379 existing plan, and it worked! Unlimited validity and data got merged with the new pack.

To everyone’s benefit, I had tried queuing 379 plan on my mom’ ph few months back. It extended the call validity but started data from same day. So only thing you get is call extension not the data.
The unlimited recharge were queuing earlier this year, can’t say if that works still or not.
